Every project scope that involves a non-trivial load path — long-span steel, cantilevered structures, connections under dynamic load — is run through FEA before detailing begins. Results are delivered as a documented calculation report, not just a model file.

3D shell+beam FEA model of the entire roof structure under wind, snow and UDL combinations. Buckling analysis run on main rafter members. EC3 code checks applied to all critical elements. Result: 14% material saving vs preliminary design.

Multi-bay portal frame analysis including crane loading and differential settlement. Non-linear geometric analysis confirmed stability under asymmetric loading. Haunch connections designed and checked to EC3 1-8.

Centru mixed-use — 8.4 m cantilever canopy

Dynamic wind analysis on a long-span welded cantilever canopy. Modal analysis identified a frequency of 1.8 Hz — above pedestrian excitation threshold. Connection design at root verified under full moment reversal.
